Ok so here is the story: I like this guy who is a year younger then me but we have so much in commun. The thing is, I always get nervous around him and sometimes there are awkward pauses. Other times we laugh lots. How do I know if he likes me? What should I do? How can I stop myself from getting all weird?

Oh, I have the same problem.
Just keep acting as if anything he says, you don't care. Like, play hard to get.
If you want to get his attention, look him in the eye, and smile. That almost always works. ;)
Don't worry about getting weird, it's normal, and you'll only know if he likes you if he wants to keep spending time with you, and hanging around you.
